Programme

Wednesday 4 November the Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries Eva Kjer Hansen and representatives from the scene of gastronomy and art open TASTE THE ART in the presence of the public, artists, Danish and international reporters, politicians, business partners etc.

PROGRAMME:

  • lots of taste samples, artistic experiences and reinterpretation of music and works of art seen through the Nordic chefs’ temperaments

  • ”Today’s art synergy”, where chefs and artists cooperate and create art on the plate, canvas and sheets of music

  • Interpretations where some of the most outstanding gastronomes in the North interpret known Danish and international works of art and through inspiration from the art create an unique and supreme new course

  • ”The crazy lunch box” – a lunch box workshop where leading Nordic gastronomes invite children in the kitchen and challenge them in relation to taste and quality awareness

  • Photo contest between a number of the best Nordic photographers competing for the best narrative food picture

  • Unique VIP night together with the Nordic culinary teams who create a menu which pampers the taste buds

  • Confectioner art - the best confectioners in the North conjure with caramel, chocolate and sugar

  • Artists’ corner where relevant persons are invited to a talk about topics of current interest

  • Book café with a presentation of a large number of the current, most delicate art books, cookbooks and life style books

  • Profiles like Paul Cunningham, Maria Dubin, Thorsten Schmidt, Nikolaj Kirk, Rasmus Kofoed, Thomas Pasfall and Gissur Gudmundsson (WACS President for 8 million chefs).
